Product Description
The 529R NSK is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers, and, when combined with a separately available outer ring (cup), forms a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and tapered rollers, this design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction. The geometry of tapered roller bearings prevents sliding movements and minimizes wear. It’s important to maintain a minimum load for proper bearing operation. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting and allow for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. To ensure reliable operation, it’s best to replace both cone and cup at the same time and use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems. Always pair the 529R NSK with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
