Product Description
The 484 A&S – Fersa is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. Paired with a separate cup, these form a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. The design minimizes sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, reducing wear. Proper operation requires a minimum load, and assembly allows for easy adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously. It is advised to use matching components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems due to differences in profiles, materials, and tolerances.
