Product Description
The 48393A Timken is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. Paired with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing that can handle radial and axial forces. The design minimizes sliding, reducing wear, but requires a minimum load for proper function. The cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it’s best to replace both components at the same time, from the same manufacturer.
