Product Description
The 775 Timken is a single-row tapered roller bearing cone, comprising the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate cup (or outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. With conical raceways and tapered rollers, it can handle radial and axial forces in one direction.
The design of tapered roller bearings minimizes sliding movements, reducing component wear. A minimum load is necessary for proper operation. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload.
For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances. Always pair the 775 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
