Product Description
The 67787 Timken is a cone component that forms part of a single-row tapered roller bearing. This removable cone includes the inner ring and rollers and, when combined with a separately available cup, makes up a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers allow it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The design minimizes component wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. However, it requires a minimum load for proper operation. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems due to differences in internal profiles, material and tolerances. Always pair the 67787 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for the best results.
