Product Description
The LM104949/Q SKF is a removable cone that forms the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cup (or outer ring), these components create a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and tapered rollers prevent sliding movements, minimizing wear and requiring a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can be mounted easily and allow for adjustable end play or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
