Product Description
The 2420 Timken is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a compatible cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing with conical raceways and roller elements. This design allows the bearing to handle radial and axial forces effectively in one direction. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing issues.
