Product Description
The 27690 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing that includes the inner ring and rollers. It needs to be used with a separately available cup to complete the bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers enable the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction, minimizing component wear. It requires a minimum load for proper operation and can easily be mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, both the cone and cup should be replaced at the same time and from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues.
