Product Description
The HM218215 Timken is a cup designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing with conical raceways and rollers capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The cup and cone are separable, allowing for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
