Product Description
The 42587B Timken is a single-row tapered roller bearing cup with a flange for easy axial placement in a housing. Its design allows it to absorb radial and axial forces, and the flange simplifies bearing assembly and alignment of seals. The separable cup and cone can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance, it’s best to replace both the cup and cone at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent compatibility issues.
