Product Description
The 44157-20024 Timken is a removable cone that forms the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cup, it creates a complete tapered roller bearing. The design allows for the absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction, minimizing component wear. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted, and their axial movement during assembly allows for adjustment of end play or preload. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace the cone and cup simultaneously with parts from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems.
