Product Description
The HH224332 Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. This cone, comprising the inner ring and rollers, can be paired with a separate cup to form a complete bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers allow the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction while reducing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and adjustment of axial clearance and preload can be achieved during assembly due to the separable cone and cup design. To ensure reliable performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously, preferably from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing issues.
