Product Description
The 2K-25131 SKF is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup, these parts form a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The conical raceways and tapered rollers prevent sliding movements, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems.
