Product Description
The LY79 Timken is an inner ring and rollers assembly for a single-row tapered roller bearing, designed to work with a compatible outer ring to form a complete bearing system. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers allow it to withstand radial and axial forces in one direction while minimizing wear. It is easily mountable, and its axial clearance or preload can be adjusted during assembly. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both the inner and outer components at the same time, and to use parts from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility issues.
