Product Description
The 382A-20024 Timken cup is designed for use with a single-row tapered roller bearing, combining with a separately available cone to form a complete bearing. Its conical raceways and roller elements allow for absorption of radial and axial forces. The separable design allows for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly, while ensuring minimal component wear. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, materials, and tolerances.
