Product Description
Meet the 2558 Timken, a cone that forms the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separate cup (or outer ring), it creates a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers allow it to absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. This design prevents sliding movements between the components, reducing wear. Proper assembly and replacement of the cone and cup from the same manufacturer are key to reliable bearing operation.
