Product Description
The 3820 Timken is an outer ring designed to complement a separately available cone, forming a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways of the outer and inner rings, along with conical roller elements, allow the bearing to effectively absorb radial and axial forces in one direction. The separable cone and cup make for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace both components simultaneously and to use matching components from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing issues.
