Product Description
The 6376 SKF is a removable cone that forms the inner ring and rollers of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cup, these parts create a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction.
With conical raceways on the inner and outer rings and tapered rollers, this design minimizes sliding movements, reducing component wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly.
For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace the cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances. When using the 6376 SKF, always pair it with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
