Product Description
The 42362 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces. The geometrical qualities minimize component wear, but require a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. It is recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously, from the same manufacturer, to avoid potential bearing problems.
