Product Description
The 439 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, comprising the inner ring and rollers. Paired with a separate cup, these components form a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design mitigates sliding movements between the raceways and rollers to minimize wear, though a minimum load is necessary for optimal operation. The separable cone and cup are easy to mount and allow for adjustable axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it is recommended to replace both cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
