Product Description
The 482A Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers of the bearing and, when paired with a cup (or outer ring), forms a complete tapered roller bearing. This design allows the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces effectively. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting and adjusting end play or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
