Product Description
The LM102949 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. Combined with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing designed to absorb radial and axial forces. Its geometric design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, minimizing wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup make mounting and adjusting end play or preload easy. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace the cone and cup together, using components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
