Product Description
The 3876 Timken cone is a key part of a single-row tapered roller bearing, along with a separately available cup (outer ring). The conical raceways and tapered rollers enable the bearing to absorb radial and axial forces, while minimizing wear and requiring a minimum load for proper operation. Since the cone and cup are separable, they can be easily mounted and adjusted for end play or preload during assembly. It is recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, and use components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems caused by differences in internal profiles, material, and tolerances. Always pair the 3876 Timken cone with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for reliable operation.
