Product Description
The 03066X Timken is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, including the inner ring and rollers. It, along with a separate cup, makes up a complete tapered roller bearing. The design allows for the absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction. Tapered roller bearings prevent sliding movements, minimizing component wear, but require a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can easily be mounted, and adjustments for end play or preload can be made during assembly. For reliable operation, it’s best to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always combine the 03066X Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
