Product Description
The 08118 Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate cup, they form a complete bearing capable of handling radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear. Proper operation requires a minimum load and both components can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to ensure compatibility.
