Product Description
The 24781 Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers and, when combined with a separate cup, forms a complete bearing. Tapered roller bearings are built to handle radial and axial forces in one direction, and their design minimizes component wear by preventing sliding movements. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting, and their axial position can be adjusted for proper operation. To ensure reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, ideally sourced from the same manufacturer to avoid potential compatibility issues.
