Product Description
The 429XS Timken is an outer ring cup designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cone, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of handling radial and axial forces in one direction. This cup features conical raceways and roller elements, preventing sliding movements and minimizing wear. It can be easily mounted and allows for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For reliable operation, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
