Product Description
The HM516449C Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separately available cup (outer ring), these components form a complete tapered roller bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear and requiring a minimum load for proper operation. Additionally, the separable cone and cup enable easy mounting and allow for adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both cone and cup at the same time, preferably from the same manufacturer to ensure compatibility.
