Product Description
The 6279 Timken is a removable cone that forms the inner part of a single-row tapered roller bearing. When combined with a separately available cup, it creates a complete bearing capable of absorbing radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding movements between the raceways and rollers and requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable components make mounting and adjusting end play or preload easy. For reliable operation, replacing the cone and cup simultaneously and sourcing from the same manufacturer is recommended.
