Product Description
The 6580V Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers enable the bearing to withstand radial and axial forces in one direction. These bearings minimize component wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. It’s important to provide a minimum load for proper operation. The cone and cup are separable for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. It’s recommended to replace both components at the same time and use a matching cup from the same manufacturer to prevent potential bearing problems.
