Product Description
The 46162 Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers of the bearing and can be paired with a separate cup to create a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers enable the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction, while minimizing component wear. It is easily mountable and allows for adjustment of axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always combine the 46162 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for reliable operation.
