Product Description
The 74536W Timken is a removable cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers, and when paired with a separate cup (outer ring), forms a complete tapered roller bearing. This design allows for absorption of radial and axial forces in one direction. Its geometry prevents sliding movements, minimizing component wear, but requires a minimum load for proper operation. The separable cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for axial clearance or preload during assembly. For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the cone and cup together, and to use matching components from the same manufacturer.
