Product Description
The 2783 Timken is a single-row tapered roller bearing cone, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a separate cup, it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. Its conical raceways and tapered rollers enable it to handle radial and axial forces in one direction. The design minimizes sliding movements and wear. Minimal load is required for operation, and assembly allows for easy adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable operation, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always pair the 2783 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
