Product Description
The 2876 Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When combined with a compatible cup (or outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing that can absorb radial and axial forces. The design prevents sliding movements, minimizing wear, but requires a minimum load for optimal operation. The cone and cup are separable, allowing for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time and to use components from the same manufacturer to avoid bearing problems.
