Product Description
The HH221449 Timken is a cone designed for use in a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers, and when paired with a separate cup, forms a complete tapered roller bearing. Tapered roller bearings are designed with conical raceways and tapered rollers to effectively handle radial and axial forces in one direction.
These bearings are designed to minimize sliding movements between the raceways and rollers, reducing wear on the components. It’s important to note that a minimum load is required for proper bearing operation. The separable cone and cup make assembly and adjustments of end play or preload easy.
