Product Description
The HM88648 Timken is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It consists of the inner ring and rollers and can be paired with a separately available cup to create a complete tapered roller bearing. The conical raceways and tapered rollers allow the bearing to handle radial and axial forces in one direction without sliding, minimizing wear. Mounting and adjustments are easy because the cone and cup are separable. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both components at the same time and to pair them with a matching cup from the same manufacturer.
