Product Description
The 14124 Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, consisting of the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a separately available cup, these parts form a complete tapered roller bearing, capable of absorbing radial and axial forces in one direction. With conical raceways on the inner and outer rings and tapered rollers, this design prevents sliding movements and minimizes wear. Proper bearing operation requires a minimum load, and the separable cone and cup allow for easy mounting and axial adjustment. For reliable operation, it is advisable to replace the cone and cup simultaneously, and to use components from the same manufacturer to prevent bearing problems. Always pair the 14124 Timken with a matching cup from the same manufacturer for optimal performance.
