Product Description
The 14124PREC.3 Timken is a removable cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing. It includes the inner ring and rollers and, when combined with a separate cup, forms a complete bearing. With conical raceways on the inner and outer rings and tapered rollers, this bearing can handle radial and axial forces. Its design minimizes wear by preventing sliding movements between the raceways and rollers. To ensure proper operation, a minimum load is required, and the cone and cup can be easily mounted and adjusted for end play or preload. For reliable performance, it’s recommended to replace both the cone and cup at the same time, using components from the same manufacturer to avoid potential bearing problems.
