The 09081S Timken is a cone designed for a single-row tapered roller bearing, serving as the inner ring and rollers. When paired with a compatible cup (outer ring), it creates a complete tapered roller bearing capable of withstanding radial and axial forces in one direction. The separable nature of the cone and cup allows for easy mounting and adjustment of axial clearance or preload. For optimal performance and longevity, it is advisable to replace both the cone and cup simultaneously, ideally sourced from the same manufacturer to ensure compatibility and prevent potential issues arising from differences in internal profiles, materials, and tolerances.
